Types of Questions and Rules to Solve Logical Word Sequence
- Arrangements of an Event or process: In such type, the provided number of words specifies the phases of development of a process or a sequence of events which is directed towards a major consequence. To solve such type of questions it is necessary to identify the order that is from ‘starting to completion of the processes.’
- Arrangements of Rising or declining value: In this type of arrangements there will be different criteria, such as period, time, size, value, area, intensity, price and so on. It is required to organize the number of words in an increasing or decreasing order given in the question. Problems under such type are usually very simple to solve in a single shot.
- Arrangement according to English dictionary: In this type of arrangement, random words are given which are not connected with each other. Such questions are required to be organize to the order similar to the English dictionary. Solutions can be drawn by making alphabetical arrangement. It is important to check the first letter of the words given and arrange it in the alphabetic order. After that, if two or more words have the similar first letter than check the second letter from the list and arrange it in an appropriate manner.
- Part’ to ‘whole’ arrangement of things: In such type of questions, a number of words will be given related to a specific group or category of items. It is essential to organize them in an order which represents the part to the whole arrangement.
