TCS Aptitude Questions 2021-20
TCS Aptitude Interview Experience
There were 41 questions in total, and time allotted was 90 minutes. The round was divided into four sections. The first section was English consisting of 15 questions and 10 minutes. The questions were to fill in the blanks with the appropriate word or sentence. The second round was of Quantitative aptitude, included 15 questions, and time allotted was 30 minutes. The questions in this round were based on profit & loss, time & work, number, time, speed & distance, blood relation, geometry, and the decimal fraction. The third round was a programming concept, which was containing questions on Iteration, procedural vs. OOP, and Data Structure. 10 questions were there, and 20 minutes were given to complete it. The fourth round was of coding. There was 1 coding question on Java, and 30 minutes were given to complete it.
This round was basically to check the logical think of the candidate and how much does the candidate know about the basic of his/her subject, any language, data structures, and algorithm. The round was divided into two different interviews. First was the TCS Ninja, and another was TCS Digital. In TCS Ninja they asked me about Cut-off frequency, Op-amp and java related question like does java can do multiple inheritances and some more logical questions.
I cleared the Ninja interview and was selected for TCS Digital interview. In the second interview, I was asked about my last semester project. Then the interviewer asked me some more questions; they were:
- Sort large files using small memory?
- Explain Ionospheric bending?
- What are the advantages and disadvantages of CDMA?
It was a very difficult and tricky round. With much difficulty, I answered the questions, but the interviewer was impressed by my explanations. I was then sent to another room for the next round.
The HR interview round was the last round in the process. I was sure that I would be selected because very few students qualified for the final round. I entered the room, and the HR welcomed me with a smile. He asked me general questions on:
- Tell me about yourself?
- Where do you see yourself after five years?
- What is your long term goal?
- How much CTC are you expecting?
After the HR round, the candidates were sent back, and results were announced after 2 weeks, and after seeing my name in the selected candidate's list, I was very happy.
