Step 3: Simplify the fraction
For example, Convert 0.75 to a fraction.
Step 1: \frac{0.75}{1}
Step 2: Multiply both top and bottom by 100 as there are two digits after decimal point. We get \frac{75}{100}
Step 3: \frac{75}{100} = \frac{3}{4}
