Question 1: Tell me about yourself.

Answer:

This is a classic initial interview question. In an HR interview, you should emphasise your soft skills and communication skills over your technical skills.

Question 2:- What are your expectations in terms of a salary?

Answer:

My salary requirements are flexible, but I have extensive expertise in the area that I believe is critical to my career. I’m looking forward to learning more about my duties at this organisation. The task will then be compensated fairly.

Question 3: Where do you see yourself five years from now?

Answer:

I’m still learning. However, during the next few years, I plan to focus more on increasing my skills, both technologically and as a leader, and in five years, I hope to be able to disseminate amazing innovative ideas and lead my team toward such ideas.

Answer:

We can study in a set amount of time if we mix hard work with commitment and effort. Success is assumed in this environment. However, in smart work, one can accomplish success by thinking cleverly because success is evaluated by, among other things, meticulous preparation, original thinking, competence, and effort.

Answer:

I have a high level of patience and emotional control. Normally, I don’t get angry quickly, but I can’t stand people who create unpleasant surroundings and disrupt people’s work.

Answer:

IBM (International Business Machines) is one of the world’s leading information technology firms, offering a diverse range of hardware, software, and services.

Answer:

Measuring the number of tasks completed by a leader is not, in my opinion, a measure of success. In my opinion, a successful leader has a team that looks up to him/her and draws inspiration from him/her.

In my life, I always attempt to face challenges. So pressure doesn’t bother me. Working under pressure, in my opinion, is an opportunity to discover my skills and gain knowledge.

My biggest motivation is that, I’m passionate about learning new things, and I want to work for a reputable organisation and hold the greatest position possible there.

I’m seeking for a company where I may not only enjoy my work but also develop into other positions. I am quite competent at what I do, but in the world of computing, new techniques and technology are continuously being developed. Question 13: How quickly do you adapt to new technology?

Answer:

I’m fairly tech savvy. I can swiftly adapt to new situations and am mentally prepared to take on new difficulties. I believe that accepting challenges enables a person to learn quickly and advance in both their work and overall well-being. During college, I had to complete papers and projects every semester and truly liked doing so. I believe that taking on these difficulties in college provided me the self-assurance to do the same in my working life.

Answer:

Everyone wants to work for IBM. I want to work with IBM because it will provide me with further knowledge and new technologies to learn, as well as an environment in which I will be able to work enthusiastically.

Question 16: What is your work ethic like?

Answer:

I’m determined to work with my team to identify and apply new approaches for completing office tasks. We collaborate as a team to discover effective solutions to problems. We established an API for customer understanding during our project work that was not part of our work. However, we invested our own time in developing that API, and as a result of our efforts, the project was a success, earning the best project of the year award.

Question 17: How do you deal with feedback and criticism?

Answer:

When I gave my manager a draught of a planned presentation, I got a lot of input on minor inaccuracies including typos, labelling problems, and font and spelling fixes. I initially felt terrible for receiving such negative feedback, and I am still a little protective. However, I later learned and understood the significance of each component of the presentation. Later, I give my presentation the attention it needs to be reviewed thoroughly before submitting it.

Question 18: What is your absenteeism record like?

Answer:

I am a person who values being present at all times. I hate taking unnecessary leaves of absence. I made an effort to regularly attend classes during my college years, only missing them when it was absolutely essential.

Question 19: Tell us about your leadership skills.

Answer:

In college, I was the president of the community club. This involves organising numerous activities and frequently leading a group of juniors while also getting work done. This was a lot of fun to do. Whenever I had to organise an event, I used to start with a plan and then build it up. All the stages and alternatives in case something goes wrong would be included in a basic sketch. I would then communicate it to the respected teams.
