I had a backlog in the 2nd semester as long as that backlog has been covered up. The only disadvantage one could think of having a backlog in the 1st year generally is that from 2nd year more of the core concepts in your field are being thought and one is dividing studying time to the backlog as well as the core concepts which may lead to a student understanding neither of the concepts.
What are your weaknesses ?
Weaknesses are tricky to talk about, so you need to be careful when sharing examples of yours. You don’t want to knock yourself out of contention for the job because the interviewer thinks you’re not qualified. You do want your answer to be honest, but as positive as possible.

Speaking honestly, I do not believe in mistakes. Said more precisely, I do not dwell much on them, thinking what could have been or should have been, if I made another decision somewhere in the past. At the end of the day, we try our best. We decide according to the information and knowledge we have. Of course our dreams and priorities change as life progresses. But I think it would be stupid to say that it was a mistake that I did not accept some job in the past, or the promotion they offered me in the company.
