Explanation:

Create a variable num initialized to -5. We use the ternary operator to check if num is greater than 0. If it is, then we assign the string "positive" to the variable result. If it is not, then we assign the string "negative" to result.

Explanation:

we have three variables num1, num2 and num3 initialized to 10, 20 and 30 respectively. We use nested ternary operators to compare the three numbers and determine the maximum among them.

The outermost ternary operator checks if num1 is greater than num2. If it is, then the second ternary operator is evaluated, which checks if num1 is greater than num3. If it is, then num1 is the maximum number. If it is not, then num3 is the maximum number.

If num1 is not greater than num2, then the third ternary operator is evaluated, which checks if num2 is greater than num3. If it is, then num2 is the maximum number. If it is not, then num3 is the maximum number.
