Wipro HR Interview Questions and Answers

Question 1:- Introduce Yourself.

Answer:-

This is usually asked during the beginning of the interview. Keep your introduction short emphasizing your strengths and relevant skills for the job.

Question 2:- What are your strengths and weaknesses?

Answer:-

Include a few strengths that are in line with the job you are applying for. For example, if your job requires you to talk with people then say your strength is your ability to communicate with people.
Include at least one weakness, do not say you have no weakness. However, refrain from mentioning anything that might make you a weak candidate. For example, if your job requires you to travel do not say your weakness is the fear of going to unknown places.

Question 3:- What are your hobbies?

Answer:-

Hobbies are the activities you perform in your free time. Mention a few of your hobbies to the interviewer and how these activities help you in improving yourself.

Question 4:- Tell me something about yourself that is not mentioned in your resume.

Answer:-

Include your qualities or skills outside of your domain. You can talk about any volunteering work you have done or any past time that you enjoy.

Question 5:- Are you willing to relocate?

Answer:-

Multinational companies like Wipro have multiple branches in different locations. When you are hired by them, they can assign you to any of these branches. Usually, it is advisable to say “yes” to this question. If you have any problems relocating then mention it to the interviewer.

Question 6:- As someone from Non-IT background, why do you want to join an IT company?

Answer:-

If you belong to Non-It branches or core branches and interviewing for Wipro, then you can expect this question.

Question 7:- Would you be comfortable working on weekends or overtime?

Answer:-

Working for Wipro, there can be times when you need to work longer hours to complete a project. You should usually answer questions like these in the affirmative.

Question 8:- Shopkeeper and the fake note puzzle.

Question:-

Premise – A lady buys goods worth Rs. 200 from a shop, whose shopkeeper is selling the goods with zero profit. The lady gives him a Rs. 1000 note. The shopkeeper gets the change from the next shop, keeps Rs 200 for himself, and returns Rs 800 to the lady.

Rule – Later the shopkeeper of the next shop comes with the Rs 1000 note saying “fake note” and takes his money back.

Objective – How much of a loss or profit did the shopkeeper take?

Question 9:- Death and Marble puzzle.

Question

You are a prisoner sentenced to death. The Emperor offers you a last chance to live by playing a simple game.

GAME-

He then says, “Divide these 100 marbles into these 2 bowls. You can divide them any way you like as long as you use all the marbles. Then I will blindfold you and mix the bowls around. Question 10:- Camel and Banana puzzle.

Question:-

The owner of a banana plantation has a camel. He wants to transport his 3000 bananas to the market, which is located in the desert. The distance between his banana plantation and the market is about 1000 kilometers. So he decided to take his camel to carry the bananas. The camel can carry a maximum of 1000 bananas at a time, and it eats one banana for every kilometer it travels.
