Important Points to Remember:-

Use STAR technique Follow the STAR technique and explain the situation. There is no rule that you have to follow this technique but it would be nice if you follow the technique because the technique was structurally designed.

Analyze your answer Think of times when you have done a mistake or not performed well. Take this kind of situation as an example and start explaining.

Add positivity At last, explain the outcome and what you have learned from that criticism.

Answer 1: How do you handle criticism?

After sharing a draft of a planned presentation with my manager, I received a lot of feedback about tiny errors like typos, mislabeling, and font and spelling corrections. At first, I felt really very bad for getting that type of feedback and I am a little bit defensive. But later I got to know and understand the importance of each and every section in the presentation. Later on, I take enough time for an in-depth review of my presentation and submit it after my review.

Answer 2: How do you deal with criticism?

My manager criticized me for the work I have done. There are some errors in my work. He pointed out every error and told me to change since I didn’t reach his level of expectation. Later, I have realized that by keeping myself in his position and understood the work he had. I came to know that it’s very much difficult for him to rectify each and every mistake.

Answer 3: Describe a time when your work was criticized.

During my college days, I didn’t complete the work that I was assigned by my lecturer. So, he scolded me in front of my mates and I felt really very bad about that feedback and criticism. Later, I used to completed each and every work that I was assigned. At last in my final exams, I have scored really very good marks which helped me a lot.
