The Exam For TCS is held in Two Parts: Foundation And Advanced
TCS has updated its Placement Test Syllabus for 2024 batches. A new curriculum has been introduced for this year hiring. Some new sections have been added in their selection process. The syllabus is explained in detail in this article.
SYLLABUS:
The advanced is broadly divided into 3 following parts:
- Advanced Quantitative Ability
- Advanced Reasoning Ability
- Advanced Reasoning Ability

This section consists of 10 Question with a time limit of 35 minutes (shared with Reasoning). The sub-topics for this section are given below:

This section consists of 10 Question with a time limit of 35 minutes (shared). The sub-topics for this section are given below:
This section consists of 2 Question with a time limit of 55 minutes.
This section consists of coding problems for which you have to provide the solution in any of the coding language of your choice. Given below are the languages from which you can select.

Important Information
- No Negative Marking
- Section Switching is not allowed
- Sub – Section switching is also not allowed
- Question switching is not allowed for already answered questions.
- Browser Tab shifting is not allowed

- Video and Audio will be monitored by an AI for online candidates.
- For 20 students each one invigilator watching videos of people giving exam.
In case of any violation of rules, the test will be cancelled immediately.
