The basic goal of the TCS Codevita challenge is to recognise and reward dedicated coders all over the world. They take part in TCS CodeVita season 11 and compete for the title of “World’s Best Coder.”

TCS CodeVita Eligibility Criteria Season 11:

The eligibility criteria of TCS CodeVita 2024 are:

  1. This competition is open to coders from all across India who will finish their academic course in the years 2024, 2025,2026, and 2027.
  2. Those interested in applying for TCS Codevita can do so from any institute in India.
  3. TCS Codevita is open to undergraduate/diploma/postgraduate disciplines from engineering/science background with any specialization.

Eligibility Criterai of TCS CodeVita

Important Details:

  • To participate in the contest, students must first register on TCSL NexStep.
    Participation in the contest requires a DT Reference number.
  • Only two people can participate on each team.
  • All interested participants will be asked to register for the contest on Campus Commune once registration opens. To participate in the contest, each registered participant will be given a unique secret code. This code is essential for participating in the contest rounds and should not be shared among teammates. The secret code will be part of the login credentials as well.
  • Each team should adopt a name for itself as well as a team leader.
  • The team leader should nominate himself as the Team Leader as well as the team members during registration. It is the team members’ responsibility to accept the nomination/invitation.
  • If a team member declines a nomination, the Team Leader can resubmit a request for another registered member from the same institute to join the team.
  • After all nominated members accept their nominations, the team will be established.
  • Each authentic team’s Team Leader will be our point of contact for any additional contest correspondence and will be responsible for keeping the team members up to date.
  • The team can be inter-disciplinary or from the same discipline.
  • A team’s members must all be from the same college or institute.
  • Throughout the competition, team members must maintain consistency.
    Swapping members within teams is not permitted and will result in the relevant teams’ exclusion from the competition.
  • The team or the institution they represent is responsible for the infrastructure/software required for compiling code solutions.
    TCS shall not be held responsible for any damage to the institute’s infrastructure that may be caused by contest participants.
  • Plagiarism is not tolerated at all.
    Although online search engines can be used as a source of information, copying and pasting directly from the internet is strongly prohibited.

Guidelines to write Codes

  • At all rounds of the competition, each participant (team member) will be required to code.
  • Participants can use any of the following languages to write their code: Java, C, C++, C#, Perl, Python, and Ruby.
  • Participants must make arrangements for compilers to compile their programmes.

Yes, you can take a break, but you will loose that time, because you cannot pause the time, or logout of the session, once you have logged in

What is the window limit for each round

Each Round has a window of 24 hrs, between which you can log in anytime and can start coding.

What is the average internet speed that is needed for the competition

You, should have a stable internet connection, that provides you a minimum speed of 1 mbps at least.
