Hexaware Interview Experience 2023
I got to know about the Hexaware drive from PrepInsta and my college drive. They were running a drive on superset for selected platforms and eligible candidates were asked to apply for the same.
After registering I started my preparations. As I have been PrepInsta since my third year, I referred to their course on Prime. I practiced all the questions and also saw the videos they had posted on their youtube channel regarding the same.
The first round was conducted on CoCubes. It was 75 minutes long and there were 75 questions asked. This included 45 minutes of aptitude questions (quants, logical and verbal) and 30 minutes of technical questions (pseudocodes and computer fundamentals)
After the online test, the shortlisted candidates were tested in the communication round. Here there were general verbal questions testing our speaking and listening skills. This round was very easy and lasted 30 minutes.
Do note, that you should use good headphones for this round as they have audio questions and you need to listen carefully before answering.
As I had applied for the Graduate Trainee Engineer position there was no coding round for me. There is a coding round for the Premier Graduate Trainee Engineer role.
From my college, 30 students were shortlisted for the technical interview. We were told that if we clear this round, then it is confirmed placement. I referred PrepInsta’s interview preparation materials for this round. They have a vast variety of technical interview questions which I practiced from.
As a tip, the interviewer will usually ask questions referring to your resume. Therefore practice questions on all the skills that you have mentioned. For example, if you have mentioned Python as one of your coding languages then practice Python technical questions.
For me, I had mentioned C and Java, so they asked me questions on the same. Additionally, they asked me some questions about DBMS.
You can practice these questions on Technical Interview Dashboard
Additionally, they also asked me to explain my project. As the interview was online, I did a screen share and showed them a demo video of my project. The interviewer asked me some follow-up questions on the technology used and if I faced any difficulties, etc.
This was the last interview round. Only 10 students were called for this round. It was a brief round and the questions were mostly about my college life.
This included questions like,
- What is your favorite subject in college?
- Which subject did you not like at all?
- How has online learning affected your college experience?
- If selected are you ready to sign a service contract?
- Do you have any questions for me?
