Look at the figures closely to understand the underlying patterns.

In all the boxes there are three different shapes.

In each of those boxes, the shapes are n, (n+1) and (n+2) sided e.g. 3 sided triangle, 4 sided square, 5 sided pentagon and so on.

The triangle moves anti-clockwise, hopping to the box to its immediate right at each step.

It also alternates colour between black and white.

The arrow in the middle rotates anti-clockwise at each step by 90 degrees and also alternates color between black and white.

Only figure (d) satisfies all the given conditions.

Thus (d) is the answer.

Among the four, three of them are objects having a physical existence and they are chain, bangle and bracelet. On the other hand, time does not have a physical existence making it the odd one out.
