Tech Mahindra Interview Experience

Name: Sarina Ansari

College: IET

Branch: CSE

Batch: IT

Tech Mahindra recently visited my campus for hiring. I would like to share my experience with the process and how I got selected in this company.

Our TPO informed us about Tech Mahindra placements. They sent us a mail with all the details and eligibility criteria. Eligible students were asked to send their names. Later on they give us a form to fill for Tech Mahindra.

One week after we filled out the forms, we got the assessment mail. This was the first round. This was aptitude test where they asked quants, logical and verbal. They also asked to write an Essay.

There were 12 questions in each section and one essay. The total round was 60 minutes. I think the questions for not very tough or very easy. I had been practicing with PrepInsta’s materials for a while so I was comfortable solving them.

The results came two days later, and the students who cleared got the technical test mail.

Technical test was scheduled two days later. They gave us the exam link in the mail. It was the same platform. It was 90 minutes which included Programming MCQs, Computer Science MCQs and Automata Fix. There was also personality test.

After this round, I got the mail for communication test.

This one was basically spoken english round. You have to listen to audio and answer questions. It was pretty easy to clear.

The results came next day, and I was shortlisted for the interview.

The interview was scheduled one week later. I prepared for the interview by referring to PrepInsta’s interview preparation course. It helped me a lot, especially to know what type of questions interviewers ask.

I had two interviews. The first one was technical round.

It was around 25-30 minutes. The interviewer asked me about my projects, internships, and certifications. Then he asked me to share my screen and write some codes.

  1. One question was on pattern printing.
  2. One question was to find leap years

I wrote both the programs and then he asked me how my previous rounds were.

In the end he asked if I have any questions. I told him no. So he said to wait for results.

The same I got the mail that I have HR interview. The HR interview was conducted next day.

He asked me for my id proof, marksheets, etc. Then he asked me about my college life and if I am part of any clubs or anything. I told him about my clubs and volunteer activities.

He was satisfied with that and the interview ended.

This was all for my interview. 5-6 days later I got selection mail.
