Zoho Placement papers with Questions and Answers

Zoho came to our campus. The recruitment process had 5 rounds. All department students were eligible for this drive.  The difficulty level of Zoho is Moderate to High and it gradually increases with the levels. The first round was Aptitude and the last was Advanced Coding.

I was worried about Advanced Coding Round, as per the information we got this round was like a designing round and we will have to design an app in this round. PrepInsta was a savior for me.

Round 1: Written Exam

There were Aptitude questions and C questions. The time duration was 1 hour and there were I think 20 - 25 questions there.

The questions were easy level and I was able to clear this round without much difficulty.

Round 2: Basic Programming Round

The time duration was 3 hours.

Basic Programming

There were 5 programming questions.

Questions were on Pattern printing, 2 sorting algorithm questions and

2 questions on the array

Round 3: Advanced Programming

This is like a Design round. We were given to build a system, according to the parameters given.

I had to design an Application like Zomato. The program should be able to have a login for the customer, a login for the delivery person, the ordering procedure, and an option to log out.

The programming language was only Java/C/C++.

I used Java and was able to build the program. There were some errors in the code but I think I managed well, for I was called for the next round.

Round 4:- Technical Interview

Technical Interview was conducted on MS Teams. I had initially some connection issues, but the interviewer was patient.

If you were to face a similar issue do not panic.

Anyway, my interview started and was about 35-40 minutes. It can vary depending on you and the interviewer.

My interviewer first introduced himself and then asked for my introduction. The questions were all based on my resume,

He cross-checked everything that I mentioned in my resume.

I am from an EEE background, so the interviewer also asked me questions about my domain.

Questions:-

1. Introduction
2. Which is your strongest programming language? (I answered JAVA)
3. JAVA is an object-oriented language. Why?
4. Why do we say JAVA is platform-independent?
5. What is a stepper motor?
6. How does it start?
7. What is a rotor?
8. How does an induction motor work?
9. What are Kirchoff's laws?
10. This internship you have mentioned, can you tell me more about it? What was your job? What were your tasks, team, etc?

The interviewer was satisfied with my answers. I was told to wait a few days for the result.

After a week, I got the email, I was selected for the HR round.

Round 5:- HR Interview

This was the last round. It went on for about 20 minutes. The interviewer asked basic HR questions and some questions about the company.

Questions:-

1. Introduce yourself.
2. What do you consider to be your strengths and weaknesses?
3. Where do you see yourself in five years?
4. Why do you want to join Zoho?
5. Any questions?
