AMCAT Eligibility Criteria for freshers

There is no such Eligibility Criteria for AMCAT Test. However, the companies recruiting through AMCAT set their own eligibility criteria, based on their job role and the package they are offering.

Eligibility Criteria Requirements:

1. On the basis of Job Role:

IT jobs ( CSE and IT)

Should have 60% above in 10th
Should have 60% above in 12th
Should have 65% above in Graduation
Plus point if a certification in Designing course is there.

Core jobs ( Core Branches)

Should have 65% above in 10th
Should have 65% above in 12th
Should have 65% above in Graduation
Plus point if a certification in Designing course is there.

2. On the basis of Package Offered:

For upto 3.5 – 4 LPA package

60% or above in class 10th
60% or above in class 12th
60% or above in Graduation
Preference to the students with no backlogs

For 4 – 8 LPA package

65% or above in class 10th
65% or above in class 12th
65% or above in Graduation
No active Backlogs

For >8 LPA package

65% or above in class 10th
65% or above in class 12th
65% or above in Graduation
No active Backlogs

To appear for the AMCAT test 2023, you have to fulfill the AMCAT eligibility criteria. Have a look on the following point to understand those criteria:

All applicants who are in the 4th year of B.E. / B.Tech Engineering Courses are eligible for AMCAT Test.
Those, who have completed the Engineering (B.E / B.Tech) are also eligible for the AMCAT Test.
Those, who are presently pursuing MCA programs & courses, as well as those who have completed their MCA, are also eligible to apply for AMCAT.
Candidates who are currently pursuing their M.E. / M.Tech and also those who have completed M.E. / M.Tech are eligible for AMCAT Test.

WHAT IS AMCAT TEST 2023 ?

AMCAT or Aspiring Minds Computer Adaptive Test evaluates candidates on the basis of their core skills which includes reasoning skills, quantitative aptitude, English and technical skills.

Application Fee for the AMCAT Test: Rs. 1,100 + GST
The validity of the Test Score: 1 Year
You can give the AMCAT Test only 3 times in a year.
You can give the second attempt for the AMCAT Test post the 45 Days of the first attempt.

WHAT IS THE AMCAT 2023 EXAM PATTERN

AMCAT test pattern is divided in two assessments.

Compulsory Assessments:

English Comprehension: 18 ques 18 mins
Quantitative Ability (Advanced): 16 Ques 16 mins
Logical Ability: 12 Ques 12 mins
Personality: 72 Ques 15 mins

Optional Assessments:

Automata Fix: 7 Ques 20 mins
Computer Science: 20 Ques 20 mins

and some company do ask the Core-Branch specific question.

CAN I RESCHEDULE MY AMCAT TEST AND WHAT ARE THE CHARGES FOR RESCHEDULING ?

Yes, You can reschedule your AMCAT Test and choose another time slot but that time slot must be 24 hours away from the current one.

AMCAT charges for rescheduling are given below :-

for once you can reschedule your AMCAT Test for free
for all the consecutive reschedules, you would have to pay 250 + taxes
1 – 5 days: Rs. 350 + taxes

WHAT IS THE GOOD SCORE FOR AMCAT 2023 ?

The Candidates need to score marks above 1500 to get more job opportunities and to get placed in good company with good package.
