Let one-fourth of the distance between Pune and Nasik be x km
then
Time taken for the first one-fourth distance = x/10 km/hour
and
Time taken for the remaining distance = 3x/12 km/hour
Since Total time taken is 7 hours.
⇒ 7 = x/10 + 3x/12
On solving, x = 20
Total distance = 4x = 80 km.

Aryan runs 300m in 50 sec.
Ayush runs 300m in 60 sec.
Now, In 1 sec Ayush runs 5m

Therefore, in 50 sec Ayush runs 50×5 = 250m

Aryan beats Ayush by 300 - 250 = 50m

Let speed of the Motor boat, Super car, and the bike be 5a Km/hr, 9a Km/hr and 4a Km/hr respectively
Given
total speed = (72 × 3) Km/hr = 216 Km/hr
⇒ 5a + 9a + 4a = 216
⇒ 18a = 216
⇒ a = 12Km/hr
⇒ speed of car = 5 × 12 = 60 Km/hr
And
speed of train = 9 × 12 = 108 Km/hr

The length that needs to be crossed = length of local train = 150 m.
Therefore time taken = 150/25 = 6s
The length that needs to be crossed = 100 + 150 = 250 m. Time taken = 250/25 = 10 s

Let the time taken to reach school at 4 kmph be x hrs.
Then time taken to reach school at 5 kmph = (x+(15/60)hr
Since, distance is equal.
\therefore 4x=5(x+(15/60))
x=(5/4)hr
Hence, distance between school and house is 4*(5/4)km=5 km

Let the speed of ola be 'x ' .
Then, time taken to cover 16 km on foot and 24 km on ola= (16/x)+(24/4) hr
According to question (16/x)+(24/4)+1=(16/x)+(24/4)
=>(5+24)/x-(16/x)+6
=>(24-16)/x=1
=>x=8 km/hr

Let the speed between P and Q be x km.
Then time taken to cover x km.

P to Q = x/20 hrs

Time taken to cover x km from
Q to P at 10 km per hr. P to Q

=x/10hrs

\therefore Total distance traveled = x+x=2 x km
Time taken to travel 2xkm
=x/20+x/20=(x+2x)/20=3x/20 hrs
therefore Average speed
=2x/3x/20=(2x*20)/3x
=40/3kmph
=13 1/3kmph
