Flipkart GRiD is an annual event organized by Flipkart, one of India’s leading e-commerce companies. The event aims to bring together various stakeholders from the technology, retail, and start-up ecosystem to foster innovation, collaboration, and entrepreneurship.

Flipkart GRiD Hackathon
Grid is Flipkart’s Flagship Engineering Campus Hackathon which provides you with the opportunity to make use of your technical knowledge and skills, to compete and complete key hurdles and challenges.
The GRiD challenge is a complete series of 3 different eliminative rounds which aims to evaluate and analyse the knowledge and skills of the candidates.
Flipkart GRiD Hackathon is a successful hiring series of events which is organized every year and gaining support and responses from candidates. Till now, 5 successful hackathon have been already done and Flipkart is ready to start with the upcoming challenge i.e. Flipkart GRiD 6.0
- Winners get EGVs worth INR 1,50,000*
- First Runners-Up Get EGVs worth INR 75,000*
- Top 20 teams from each college
- Level 1 qualifying teams
- Finalists
- Top teams who qualify for level 2 will get opportunity to be a part of the hiring process for internship and full-time tech roles at Flipkart.
- Teams who reach the finale get a PPI for a Software Tech Role (internship/full time)
Flipkart GRiD Challenge Analytics
Level 1: E-Commerce & Tech Quiz
- An online quiz consisting of 30 questions is conducted for all the registered teams with a time limit of 30 minutes.
- The quiz is to be attempted by all the team members.
- The score will be evaluated based on the average of marks of all members.
- All teams will be taking this quiz simultaneously during the quiz window.
- Teams will be promoted to next round based on the performance evaluated in the online quiz.
- Shortlisted teams from round 1 will be moved to round 2.
Level 2: Submission Round
- This round is to be attempted by teams shortlisted in round 1.
- A problem statement will be assigned according to the domain area of interest selected after the round 1 evaluation if
shortlisted. - All the shortlisted teams will have to prepare the video solution for the allocated problem statement only.
- Submissions can be made anytime before the deadline through the online window portal.
- The teams have to submit the detailed proof of concept video solution along with the code.
Level 3: The National Finale
In the round 3 i.e. the National Finale Round, all the shortlisted teams are invited to showcase their proof of concepts / solutions in front of the panel along with live demonstration.
This is the final stage of the Flipkart GRiD Challenge.

What is Flipkart GRiD?
Flipkart GRiD is Flipkart’s flagship engineering campus challenge. It is a platform for students to showcase their technical knowledge and skills, and to compete and complete key challenges. The challenge is open to students from all engineering colleges in India and the United States.
What are the challenges?
The challenges in Flipkart GRiD are based on real-world problems from the world of e-commerce. In previous editions, students have worked on challenges such as building a recommendation engine, developing a fraud detection system, and optimizing a shipping algorithm.
How do I participate?
To participate in Flipkart GRiD, students must register in teams of 2 to 3 members. The teams must be full-time students from the same engineering college. Students can register for the challenge on the Flipkart GRiD website.

- All the shortlisted teams will have to prepare the video solution for the allocated problem statement only.

The problem statements are open for all the teams and each team can submit their problem statement preference selection within the given time period.
The National Finale Round:
In the round 3 i.e. the National Finale Round, all the shortlisted teams are invited to showcase their proof of concepts / solutions in front of the panel along with live demonstration.
This is the final stage of the Flipkart GRiD Challenge.
