- Students should possess consistent academic record with 60% or greater in X, XII, Diploma, UG & PG.
- Standing arrears (in 1st to 6th Sem) are not eligible.
- Flexibility to work from any Cognizant office location in a given shift timing and technology is mandatory.
- Open to Indian nationals/OCIS/PIOS who are currently residing in India.
Cognizant GenC Next
- 2024 batch of specific B.E/B.Tech/ M.E/M. Tech (AI, ML, DS, CSE, IT branches).
- Students should possess consistent academic record with 70% or greater in X, XII, Diploma, UG & PG.
- Standing arrears (in 1st to 6th Sem) are not eligible.
- Flexibility to work from any Cognizant office location in a given shift timing and technology is mandatory.

Below are the steps involved in Cognizant On Campus Hiring process for GenC Next & GenC Pro Role.
Selection Criteria for Internship/ CSD 2024
It is mandatory to complete Internship or CSD (Certified Skill Development) successfully with all required milestones before joining Cognizant as a full-time employee.
Internship:
- Only top performers during the hiring process may be selected for an internship opportunity in April/May.
- The internship will align with a specific in-demand skill, and changing skill tracks will only be allowed in the case of business-driven reasons.
- The internship will be at Cognizant office location.
- Stipends will be based on milestones achieved, and interns will receive stipend only upon successful completion of the defined milestones.
Certified Skill Development (CSD) :
- It is mandatory for the selected candidate to complete CSD before recieving a Full Time (FTE) offer.
- CSD will be at Cognizant office location.
- The initiation of CSD will occur only after the completion of the 8th-semester exams.
- The internship will align with a specific in-demand skill, and changing skill tracks will only be allowed in the case of business-driven reasons.
- Stipends will be based on milestones achieved, and interns will receive stipend only upon successful completion of the defined milestones.
Note:

Registration
- Resume attached with latest passport size photograph.
- Industry accredited certificate to be uploaded mandatorily.
Interview
- All academic documents including the college ID card, and school/college UG, PG mark sheets.
Onboarding
- If PAN card not available, kindly apply for the same as this is a mandatory document for onboarding. If you do not have your last name updated in the PAN card, kindly get it updated. Background verification will fail if last name is not updated in the PAN card, Background verification will fail if the PAN card name and the registered name is not matching.
Do's and Dont's of Cognizant Exam
Do's
- Assessment should be taken on Safe browser(details of installation would
be on assessment invitation.) - Choose a well-lit, quiet location for the test and ensure clear visibility in the frame with no background noise.
- ONLY ONE test attempt is allowed.
- No additional tabs other than those related to assessment should be opened.
- Camera & microphone should be enabled in the system during the assessment.
- Internet connectivity speed should be a minimum of 2 Mbps.
- Use a plain background without images or wall hangings behind your seating arrangement.
Should wear a formal attire during the assessment. - Cognizant or its partner will provide instructions for validating system requirements and installing any necessary plug-ins for the assessment. Complete these steps in advance on the device you’ll use for the assessment.

- Cognizant has zero tolerance policy towards malpractice.
- Avoid any form of misconduct, such as sharing data, replicating information, or plagiarism.
- If someone else is observed nearby during the test, your assessment may be disqualified.
