Flipkart GRiD Hackathon

Grid is Flipkart’s Flagship Engineering Campus Hackathon which provides you with the opportunity to make use of your technical knowledge and skills, to compete and complete key hurdles and challenges.

The GRiD challenge is a complete series of 3 different eliminative rounds which aims to evaluate and analyse the knowledge and skills of the candidates.

Flipkart GRiD Hackathon is a successful hiring series of events which is organized every year and gaining support and responses from candidates. Till now, 5 successful hackathon have been already done and Flipkart is ready to start with the upcoming challenge i.e. Flipkart GRiD 6.0

Flipkart GRiD Challenge Analytics

Level 1: E-Commerce & Tech Quiz
  • An online quiz consisting of 30 questions is conducted for all the registered teams with a time limit of 30 minutes.
  • The quiz is to be attempted by all the team members.
  • The score will be evaluated based on the average of marks of all members.
  • All teams will be taking this quiz simultaneously during the quiz window.
  • Teams will be promoted to next round based on the performance evaluated in the online quiz.
  • Shortlisted teams from round 1 will be moved to round 2.
Level 2: Submission Round
  • This round is to be attempted by teams shortlisted in round 1.
  • A problem statement will be assigned according to the domain area of interest selected after the round 1 evaluation if
    shortlisted.
  • All the shortlisted teams will have to prepare the video solution for the allocated problem statement only.
  • Submissions can be made anytime before the deadline through the online window portal.
  • The teams have to submit the detailed proof of concept video solution along with the code.
Level 3: The National Finale

In the round 3 i.e. the National Finale Round, all the shortlisted teams are invited to showcase their proof of concepts / solutions in front of the panel along with live demonstration.

This is the final stage of the Flipkart GRiD Challenge.

  • You must be an engineering student pursuing
    B. Tech/B.E./M. Tech or other engineering programs across ALL
    engineering colleges in India (Batch 2025, 2026, 2027 & 2028).
  • You must be a full-time student.
  • You must not have participated in any other hackathon organized by Flipkart in the past 3 months.
  • You must be a citizen of India.
