Why Python?

Python codes are shorter than compared to other programming languages and hence are easy to write and debug. Python can be treated in an object-oriented,  procedural, or functional way as it supports the concept of object-oriented programming and also functional programming. Some Special points in history of  python are:

  • It has a wast, active and supportive community.
  • Sponsor of Python is Google.
  • Huge library support.
  • Efficient and easy to learn.
  • Python is accessible.

Yes, I definitely believe that it has some good cross-platform properties. Object orientation was one of the techniques I used to make Python platform independent.
