Here on this page, we have provided the different profiles for freshers provided by the TCS.

TCS has provide four different profiles for the freshers :

  • TCS Smart
  • TCS Ninjas
  • TCS Digital
  • TCS Innovator

Here, we will discuss about each role one by one about there complete recruitment process.

Infosys DSE and SP Recruitment Process

TCS Profiles :

Let’s discuss different profiles by TCS one by one :

1. TCS Smart

TCS Smart Hiring is a test launched by TCS for non Engineering graduates which will be done on the pattern of TCS national  Qualifier Test.

  • Eligibility :
    1. BSc/ BCA/ B.Voc in CS/IT
    2. Should be Graduated or in Final Year.
  • Salary : ₹ 1.9 Lakhs to ₹ 2.7 Lakhs per annum
  • Recruitment Pattern :

    Below steps are there in the recruitment process of TCS Smart. :

  1. Online Written Test
  2. Technical Interview
  3. HR Interview.

First round is an online written test, which is regarded as one of the most non-difficult rounds in the entire process. Aptitude, Logical, Verbal are the three sections of the written test. After clearing the first round, there should be two rounds technical and Hr each of should be eliminated round.

TCS Smart Eligibility :
TCS Criteria
Educational Qualification Full-time graduates from BCA, B.Sc (Math, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Biochemistry, Computer Science, IT), B. Voc in CS / IT
Eligible Stream BSc/ BCA/ B.Voc in CS/IT
Required Percentage 50% through
Gap Not more than 2 years
Backlog Not  more than 1 active backlog
Online Test Pattern :
Section Question
Numerical Ability 26 Question
Verbal 24 Question
Reasoning Ability 30 Question
Note: Total time allotted to complete this test will be 120 minutes or 2hrs.

2. TCS Ninja

TCS Ninja is a job role that TCS offers to its freshers. TCS Ninja Hiring Process will base upon the score of TCS NQT Exam. TCS NQT or TCS National Qualifier Test is an exam conducted by TCS for TCS Hiring Process.

  • Eligibility :
    1. Full time Graduates from B.E / B.TECH / M.E / M.TECH
    2. Should be in Final Year.
  • Salary :  For UG: INR (3,36,877 + 60,000*)
    For PG: INR (3,53,578 + 60,000*) Lakhs per annum

  • Recruitment Pattern :

    Below steps are there in the recruitment process of TCS Ninja :

  1. Online Written TCS NQT Test.
  2. Technical Interview with HR interview.

First round is an online written test, which is regarded as one of the most difficult rounds in the entire process. After clearing the first round, there should be one interview in which technical and hr regarding questions will be asked.

Educational Qualification Should be in final year of B.E/ B.TECH/ M.E/ M.TECH
Eligible Stream All Engineering Streams
Required Percentage 60% through
Gap Not more than 2 years

IMPORTANT NOTE :
  • There is no negative marking in TCS NQT Foundation Section this year.
  • This year TCS NQT Foundation Section (for Ninja profile) is Non- Adaptive
  • You will be given a calculator on the screen during the Aptitude Exam and one needs to do the calculations on the on-screen calculator provided.
  • No rough sheets will be provided individually.

3. TCS Digital

TCS Digital is a job role that TCS offers to its freshers. TCS Ninja Hiring Process will base upon the score of TCS NQT Exam. TCS NQT or TCS National Qualifier Test is an exam conducted by TCS for TCS Hiring Process. TCS digital is one of the very hard and well-known exams. TCS Digital placement process is tougher than the existing ninja.

  • Eligibility :
    1. Full time Graduates from B.E / B.TECH / M.E / M.TECH
    2. Should be in Final Year.
  • Salary :  For UG: INR 7,00,000 per annum
    For PG: INR
    7,30,000 per annum
  • Recruitment Pattern :

    Below steps are there in the recruitment process of TCS Ninja :

  1. Online Written TCS NQT Test.
  2. Technical Interview
  3. Technical Interview with HR

First round is an online written test, which is regarded as one of the most difficult rounds in the entire process. After clearing the first round, there should be two round of interview:

  •  Technical Interview : In this interview a coding question can be asked with the knowledge of projects on resume and computer fundamentals.
  • Technical interview with HR : In this interview some technically knowledge base question with HR question will be asked.
TCS Digital Eligibility :
TCS Criteria
Educational Qualification Should be in final year of B.E/ B.TECH/ M.E/ M.TECH
Eligible Stream All Engineering Streams
Required Percentage 60% through
Gap Not more than 2 years
Backlog Not  more than 1 active backlog

TCS Digital Online Test Pattern : In TCS NQT, test there is advance section which should be solved for the digital role. Pattern of this advance section in given below according to which :

  • 10 question on Advance Quantitative Ability.
  • 10 question on Advance Reasoning Ability.
  • 2 Advance coding question
TCS NQT Eligibility Criteria

4. TCS Innovator

TCS Innovator role is considered as a very good stepping stone for students who have to do corporate oriented science research and innovation. TCS Innvoation also acts as an inncubation cell for startups

  • Eligibility :
    1. Full time Graduates from  B.TECH / MCA / M.TECH/M.S
  • Salary :   ₹ 9.0 Lakhs to ₹ 11.5 Lakhs per annum
  • Recruitment Pattern :

    Below steps are there in the recruitment process of TCS Innovator :

  1. Resume Shortlisting
  2. Online Written Test  consist of aptitude and coding question.
  3. Technical Interview Round 1
  4.  Technical Interview with HR round 2
