1. Online Coding Round:

The test had two problems:

• Problem 1: Matrix manipulation (basic level)
• Problem 2: String-based logical mapping

Around 38 students cleared this round in his college’s on-campus drive.

2. Technical Interview Round 1:

• Started with resume and project walkthrough.
• Questions included:
  1. Explanation of JWT and token based authentication
  2. OS topics: Scheduling algorithms, page replacement
  3. DBMS: Normalization, transactions, deadlocks
  4. Java and object-oriented design
• Coding question: Efficient transpose of a sparse matrix using an O(n log n) approach.

3. Technical Interview Round 2:

Shorter than the first, this round focused on:

• Core Java, exception handling, collections
• OOP design and working in a team
• Deep discussion on one project
• Situational questions: How do you handle rejections? How did you implement ML in a past project?

4. HR Interview Round:

Very friendly and informal.

• Motivation for joining Mastercard
• Communication skills
• Future plans
