Aptitude Test
For this round I referred PrepInsta’s practice papers. Some of the questions were as it is as they were in the materials. The test comprised of questions from Quantitative Analysis such as, Number System, Algebra, Arithmetic Progression, Logarithms, Percentage Probability, and etc. There were 25 questions in this round and the time frame was of 90 minutes. The second written round began soon after the first round.
Technical Test
There were total 10 questions in this round. The questions were from basics of C/C++. Time allotted for this round was 60 minutes. The questions were of low to medium difficulty level.
Advanced Technical Round
This was more or less a coding round. All the shortlistedstudents from round one were given a sheet of paper in which there were 5 coding questions. The questions asked were, apply bubble sort on the given series, Breadth First Search on a tree, and three more. Total time allotted was 75 minutes.
Face to Face Interview
Technical Interview
Since I had applied for the post of a UI Developer, most of the questions asked to me were related to the user interface. Some of the questions were:
- How will you reduce the page load time? What do you mean by DOCTYPE?
- List some limitations while serving XHTML pages.
- Write down the syntax of bulleted list, and unordered list.
After this quick session, the interviewer asked about my favourite subject in engineering, and about my role in my final year project. He asked me to give a brief presentation of my final year project, with which he seemed quite satisfied. He did wish me good luck for my next round, with a smile.
HR Interview
This was the easiest round out of all four. The HR just asked some basic questions such as:
- What do you know about ZOHO?
- Why do you want to join ZOHO?
- How will you be an asset to us?
- Are you willing to relocate?
- Where do you see yourself in next 5 years?
I answered all the questions very confidently with which the HR was very impressed. Few hours later the HR handed me the offer letter and said, “Welcome to the ZOHO family.”
