Adjectives are a word which describes the quality of the noun. It modifies the meaning of a noun . Adjectives can also describe the state of being of the noun.

Adjectives change the quality of a noun by adding a word before that.

Ex:  They walk on Red Carpet.

The hottest hero of all time is Salman Khan

Usage of Adjectives

Adjectives sometimes also tell the quantity of noun.

Ex: She ate two packets of potato chips 

Sometimes adjectives are used together. In that case, we separate them by a comma or conjunctions.

Ex: My new puppy is small and cute.

Mostly, adjectives have three forms to show degrees of comparison.

  • Positive
  • Comparative
  • Superlative
