Student Interview
Last month, CGI Technologies- one of the leading international IT consulting firm, visited our campus for On-campus placements. Since I recently completed my B. tech degree, and was searching for a Job, hence I registered myself for this interview. This was my first interview as a fresher and I didn’t want to take any chance.
I interacted with some of my seniors, who shared their experiences with me. It gave me overview about the whole interview process, the types of questions asked, and also about how and from where shall I prepare for the interview. All my seniors suggested to solve some last year’s Sample Practice papers available on Prepinsta site, for the Written Round which is started doing.

Round 2-Group Discussion
This round was eligible for only those students who cleared the written test successfully. In this round, we were divided into different groups, and were given a topic related to the common happenings around us. My group got the topic “Is IT industry influencing our culture?”
We were expected to give valid and relevant points at the time of discussion. The interviewer was judging us for our confidence, impromptu knowledge, and ability to convince. We were also checked for our communication skills. Apparently, I was selected for this round as well.
Round 3 HR Interview round:
This was the last round with least stress levels. It was the most relaxing round where the HR person asked me some personal questions: about my family, future plans, my hobbies, my strengths, and weaknesses Etc.
The main logic behind this round was to test my elementary knowledge and communication skills. Hence apart from good a technical knowledge, confidence was the key factor to clear this round.
Like the other rounds, this one also went well. The interviewer seemed impressed, as when I walked out, he gave me a warm smile and shook hands with me wishing me good luck.
Eventually I received the offer letter within a week, along with the joining letter.
