How to solve Decimals and Fractions questions

Definition

1. Decimal: A decimal number is a number with a decimal point in it. For example, 1.5.
2. Fraction: A fraction is a way of expressing a number that is a ratio of two integers. For example, 2/5.

Type 1: Find the greatest or smallest fraction

Which of the following fraction is the largest?

7/9 = 0.77

13/14 = 0.92

15/21 = 0.71

3/4 = 0.75

From the above, 0.92 is the largest.
