Reliance Jio Interview experience -3

Reliance Jio organized a placement drive in our College after the last semester in 2017. I was keen to work with Reliance Jio as it is a renowned telecommunication industry.  I was passionate about electronics and communication engineering, and I really didn’t want to miss this opportunity. My seniors used to study from Prepinsta website for many interviews. So even I started my preparations from Prepinsta for the Reliance Jio interview.

There was an eligibility criteria was a score of 6.0 in CGPI, 60% marks overall and no drops in any exam.

Round 1- Online Written Test Paper

To finish the written exam, we were given 72 minutes and were informed that there would be no negative marking in this paper.

The online exam was of moderate level. I cleared this exam and was sent to the next room for the second round.

Round 2- First Group Discussion 

We were given 10 to 15 minutes for the first GD round. The topic of GD was, “Demonetisation- Good and bad effects.” I was on the positive side and presented many vital points. I made it to the next round, but many of the other candidates were eliminated.

Round 3- Second Group Discussion 

For this round, we got a topic, “Impact of Internet of Things on business activities” The main concern of this round was to see the confidence and the substantial grounds on which you can justify the topic. I made only one point, but it was entirely accurate which led me to the technical round.

Round 4- Technical Questions Round

I was asked around four technical questions:

• What is an Amplifier?

• State the main divisions of power systems?
• What is crosstalk?
• What is op-amp?  

I answered all the questions as I prepared sample questions from Prepinsta website.

Round 5- HR round 

The interviewers first asked me to explain myself in 3 lines, they asked me about my family and why I wanted to join their organization. I gave details about myself and my family, then I gave the reason and convinced them nicely. I was getting the positive signs as they started telling me their organization’s goals and locations.

I was asked to wait for few minutes as the other interviews were still going on. In the end, they called me to discuss the salary package as I was selected for the job.
