Mu Sigma Interview Questions for Freshers

Nowhere on the internet there are proper resources for you to prepare for Mu Sigma Interview, some websites mix freshers and experienced technical interviews, some only provide basic HR questions and no Coding or Technical interview Questions neither the Case Study section that has been playing an important role in their hiring process.

In this round you will be shown a video clip.

Do's

• Go through the video clip with full attention as the video will be without subtitle.
• Try to analyze the scene in your terms.
• Build a list of short notes which can either in favor or in against of the video but your points should be accurate and do support your idea.
• Try to be as precise as you can.

Don't

• Do not just write the summary of the clip as it will be taken as negative point.
• Don't put out the points which have no relation with the video clip just to increase your content

Note : There is not much preparation you can do for this section other than trying to write a short synthesis for different things you read/watch everyday

In this stage, the applicants will be made to discuss some topic related to data analytics and its present state.You should prepare by practicing regularly to speak in English on random subjects.

Do's

• Take your time to think about the given topic.
• Do take pen and paper to write few pointers about the topic.
• Listen to others too and then try to speak in fluent English.
• Be confident and have a mild smile while discussing the topic with other candidates.

Don'ts

• Don't speak randomly without a plan and structure.
• Don't be arrogant, overaggressive or vain.
• Don't show a lack of attention or energy.
• Don't look at only the key speakers in the discussion.
• Don't condemn or severely criticize anyone's view point.

Note : You will be awarded plus point if you begin or end the topic with a conclusion on which others candidates agree too.

Once you pass all the above rounds, the last one is a piece of cake. It’s just a final formality and they would only ask basic HR questions. But don't take it too lightly.

Few Pointers :

• Just be genuine and be yourself and be cool and calm.
• Never lie in the interview and if you are bluffing be sure you are prepared for the follow up questions.
