3. When did you start to learn to code and what was the first thing you programmed?
I had started coding when I opted for CS as a subject in 11th class.
The first program I had coded was a program for printing the word HELLO on the screen. The first big project I was proud of was making a program of Data handling program for banking systems.
4. Explain to me how the internet works, further explaining the concept of protocols.
The Internet works through a routing network conforming with the IP, TCP, and other various protocols. The protocols provide the data which is shared routing information with which the IP address is attached.
5. List out some popular operating system
Some popular operating systems are Microsoft Windows, OSX, and Linux.
6. What is SDLC?
SDLC stands for Software Development Life Cycle is a process that produces quality software products in less time.

1. What is a rectifier and what are its classifications?

2. Which professional software can you work on?
I have learned a couple of software during my college years such as MATLAB, AutoCAD, and Solidworks. I have a good hands-on experience with MATLAB, as I have used it intensely in my college project for simulation.
3. What are gas and electric arc welding?
In, gas welding, oxygen-hydrogen or acetylene gas is burned in a torch to create the flame.
In electric arc welding, the heat required for the fusion is generated by an electric arc between the parts to be joined and an electrode.
4. What is quality and total quality management (TQM)?
Quality is the conformance to the prescribed design.
It signifies the degree of its excellence.
TQM is an enhancement to the traditional way of doing business. It can be stated as both a philosophy and a set of guiding principles that represent the foundation of a continuously improving organization.

1. What are projection lines?
Projection lines can be defined as extensions of lines that assist in the 2-dimensional drawing.

2. What is meant by the soundness of cement?
Soundness with respect to cement could be stated as the ability of a hardened cement paste to retain its volume after setting without delayed destructive expansion.
This expansion is a result of excessive amounts of free lime and magnesia.
3. What is fatigue and give some examples where it is most expected.
It is defined as the failure of a structure due to excessive external load as a result of extreme stress.

1. What are modulation and demodulation?
It is a process of imposition of an input signal on a carrier, with respect to the involvement of data or speech information.
2. What is an operational amplifier?
A DC-coupled high-gain electronic voltage amplifier with differential inputs and, typically, a single output is known as an active amplifier or op-amp.
Negative feedback, which largely determines the extent of the op-amp’s voltage gain, or positive feedback, which promotes regenerative gain and oscillation, is typically used to regulate the output of the op-amp.
3. What is meant by negative and positive feedback?
In a negative feedback control system, the setpoint and output values are subtracted from each other as the feedback is out-of-phase with the original input. The effect of negative feedback is to reduce the gain.
In a positive feedback control system, the setpoint and output values are added together by the controller as the feedback is “in-phase” with the input. The effect of positive feedback is to increase the gain of the system.
4. Explain the structure of power systems.
There is the Generation power system, Transmission system, and distribution system.
The transmission station links the generating unit to the distribution stations, where the electricity is distributed to the end consumers.

1. What is stated by Thevenin’s theorem?
It states that current through any resistance in any network remains the same if is provided with a voltage source in series with its equivalent resistance where the voltage source is the open-circuit voltage across terminals where resistance is removed and equivalent resistance is the total internal resistance of the circuit with resistance removed and their resistance as seen from open circuit terminals.
2. What is a three phase system?
Here, the system of voltages(currents) is merely a combination of three single-phase systems of voltages (currents) of which the three voltages (currents) differ in phase by 120 electrical degrees from each other in a particular sequence.
3. What role does the back EMF plays in starting and running a motor?
The presence of back EMF makes the DC motor a self-regulating machine, i.e., it makes the DC motor draw as much armature current as is just sufficient to develop the required load torque.
4. What are the conditions for resonance?
- If the circuit is in phase with the applied voltage.
- The power factor is unity, and
- Net reactance is zero.
