Student Interview
I was selected as a Graduate Engineer Trainee at GGK Technology, Hyderabad in 2018. The company came to my college for the pool campus drive offering a package of 3.84 LPA. For the entire interview preperation, I went through many tips and tricks and previous year question papers available at PrepInsta. It gives the detailed syllabus and topics we need to concentrate on, which was a great help.

Eligibility Criterira
Minimum 60% in Engineering is required
Students with circuit branches only- ECE, EEE, CSE, IT
Knowledge of at least 1 programming language is mandatory.

Aptitude Round
There were 30 questions in this round. About 60% of the questions were exactly same as I studied in the PrepInsta’s sample papers.

Coding Section
This was a bit tricky for me, but thanks to PrepInsta, as the question I practiced in its material were asked in my paper too. There were three questions in my paper, out of which 2 were correct and 1 was partially correct. The codes asked in this round were very easy, even though most of the students were eliminated in this round. The interviewers gives more preference to the students with optimized codes.  

Face to Face Interview

Technical Interview
The interviewer in this round was quite cool and calm. He asked me how my previous rounds went. Then he went through my resume for next 2 minutes. His first question was “ what are you best at ?” my answer was data structures, and operating system. He asked me few questions, like
Explain the BFS and DFS.
Explain a deadlock situation with the help of an example from your day-to-day life.
What are the different states in a process?
What is circular linked list
At last, he gave me a code to find the middle element from the given linked list. After this, the interview ended, and I moved out.

HR Round
The interviewer for this round was very friendly. She asked me few general questions such as introduce yourself, likes dislikes and etc. Later she gave me a brief introduction about GGK Technology. She explained about the company’s policies and the work environment there. At the end of the interview she asked if I had any questions and wished me good luck with a smile. I was relieved when I received the offer letter. I was so happy that I cracked my first interview in the first attempt. That was the happiest day of my life. The offer letter was sent to my postal address later that month.
