I applied for offcampus drive organized by Dr. APJ Abdul kalam technical university, bareilly. It consists of three rounds:

• Online test

• Technical Round

• HR round

1- Online test was conducted by this online with webcam ,it consists of various questions of aptitude, verbal, automata fix and reasoning. In automata fix , there are 4 output questions and 3 coding questions.

The result declared in December 2019 and I cleared the test , then we have interview held in lucknow at Ramswaroop memorial college of Engineering & Technology .

2- In Technical round, I have been asked about Introduction, project, Favorite subject, SQL queries ,internships experience, bubble sorts program in C ,OOPs Concept and questions related to above topics.

I have been waited for result , but I was not selected TR round because my favorite programming language is python and my final year project was also based on it.

But my interviewer does not know about python language , So he has not asked any questions

Student Interview

When I was in last semester, I learned that Cognizant On-Campus drive was about to begin for hiring a huge number of skilled students. Like other fresher and experienced personnel, I was also looking for this lucrative job opportunity. I found the latest Cognizant syllabus and pattern on PrepInsta

One thing which stood vital for all of the students who participated along with me was that the candidate should not have a gap of more than two years in education. Also, the candidate should have attained minimum 60 percent in X and XII and 65 percent in B.Tech with no standing arrears.

Based on the little research, I learned that candidates selection will be made based on their performance in the following rounds respectively.

  1. Written Exam
  2. Technical Interview
  3. HR Interview

Written Test -

Cognizant complete the selection process mostly in 3 phases:

1 written test

2 Technical round

3 HR round

I took the test from my college with webcam and microphone enabled on 16th oct’19 through the Aspiring Minds platform. The total duration of the test was two hours and there was no negative marking. The whole test was divided into four subsections-verbal, quantitative, logical reasoning and automata fix. Automata fix has seven programming questions that involve debugging the code or in some cases writing as well.

The verbal part has questions on grammar basics and on comprehension.

The aptitude part is easy if you have done a practice from R.S.Agarwal. You can solve examples from averages, profit, and loss, percentages, pipes and cisterns, problems on trains, etc.

The logical reasoning part was also easy and questions on coding-decoding and
