Student Interview
Recently DXC Technology, visited our college for an on-campus interview. Since this was my first interview as a fresher, hence I was both nervous and super excited for this drive. I took help from my seniors to prepare for the interview. They gave me some preparation tips, how and from where should I study. For the written round, they asked me to brush up my quants, verbal, and technical skills by solving some of the PrepInsta’s Practice Sample papers. These sample papers proved very helpful as they gave me an overview of the entire question paper.

Round 2-Group Discussion
Since I cleared the first round hence, I was eligible for this round. For this round, all the participants were divided into a group of 10, and each group was assigned a topic. These topics were related to the common activities around us.
Moreover, the main intention behind this round was to check our confidence levels, interpersonal skills, and convincing abilities. I was confident about my selection of words and equally participated in each activity. I also made sure to be polite and maintain good communication skills. The interviewer seemed satisfied with my performance, and eventually, when the result was announced, I was called for the last round.
Round 3 Technical Interview
This was a more elaborative round. The interviewer glanced through my marksheets and started asking questions from every subject, some in detail and some briefly. I was also asked questions on my last projects and other questions related to my educational background. He also asked me some basic questions on the fundamentals of C, C++, .net, Data Structure, computer networking, etc.
The interviewer seemed happy with my performance, and this round also went well.
Round 4 HR Interview round:
This was the final and most relaxed round. After finishing my technical interview, I was asked to go to the HR department. Eventually, I went there, and 2 HR employees asked me to join them in a conference room where I was offered some refreshments (to which I politely said no) Then they asked me some basic personal questions about my family, my father’s occupation, my future plans, my strengths and the achievement I am most proud of. They also asked me whether I was interested in pursuing higher education in future or not.
Apart from this, they also asked me questions related to my interests, teamwork spirit, my communication skills, and my outlook towards working for DXC technologies.
Eventually I received the offer letter within a week, along with the joining letter. And That’s how my first interview ended on a happy note.
