AMCAT Test Pattern 2018 may be different, depending upon the course that you’re studying and the branch of that course that you’re in. Though, AMCAT does allow you you choose 2 to 3 topics on your own. But there are some mandatory sections that you need to take for sure. Lets see which ones are these.

We suggest for Engineering Branches that students must choose computer programming(If they want to apply for IT jobs in companies like Accenture, Zs Associates, mPhasis etc.

  • For CSE and IT – Computer Programming and Computer Science.
  • For ECE – Telecommunication, Electronics and Semiconductors + Computer Programming
  • For EEE – Electrical Engineering + Computer Programming. Can also give Electronics and Semiconductors if confident.
  • For Mech – Mechanical Engineering + Computer Programming. Can also give Metallurgical Engineering if confident.
  • For Chemical – Chemical Engineering + Computer Programming. Can also give any one of paint, polymer, chemistry if confident.
  • Civil Engineering – Civil Engineering + Computer Programming.

For Management – Electrical Engineering and if you want can also give Electronics and Semiconductors

  1. Once you have registered and paid for AMCAT Test
  2. You have to choose your Test centers
  3. Wait for 7 days for results, if results not received in 10 days, you may contact AMCAT via email/phone
  4. Now from AMCAT Dashboard you can apply to different companies, they may/may not shortlist you for interview rounds based on your score
  5. Ideal percentiles to get calls from AMCAT can be found on our AMCAT score vs Percentile page.
  6. Wait 7 days for any company HR to contact you
